The Witching Hour

This week we present our own humorous look at fan-generated art: aka, it’s FAN FICTION WEEK!

Not too many songs this week as we spent waaay too much time defining the key terms in fan culture, fan fiction, and fan art. What exactly is “canon”? What’s an “AU”? What is “fluff”? What if, instead of marrying Ginny, Harry got with Hermione? Or Draco? Or some made-up half-veela Mary Sue with silver hair and purple eyes??

Here are some of the links we discuss during the show (you can also find all these on our facebook page's event for this show):

The Shoebox Project
Accio Brain! Fan art
Art by Marta (her website is now down, but you can find her art elsewhere)
